赵普,1939年生于北京,首都书画界宿老,1983年北京书协初立时之百名之一者。中国书协会员、全国书画艺术委员会副主席,中国管理科学研究院教育标准化研究所客座教授。

先生弱冠始攻汉隶,遍临《乙瑛》等数十种碑版,兼习石鼓、金文、唐楷、宋四家及明清诸家法贴。博览文史书论,上世纪八十年代,已名重京城。

1986年应邀为“圆明园遗址公园”题名牌,为天安门城楼及曲阜孔庙等多地题留墨迹。1999年,先生荣退,随即“闭关”地坛斋宫十五载,研习书法。卓然写出了一变前贤的独家面貌,即:中锋笃,方为主,减蚕雁,融篆行的 “赵隶”家风!著名艺术理论评论家柯文辉先生说:“赵隶,消化遗产,取经用宏,方笔方构,中锋笃实,奉汉碑金梭,存古拙神采,参证篆楷,自见流妍,调节经纬,隐去斧痕,小字若大字疑聚意象,大幅得苍润跌宕若洪波奔腾”。

1987年至2006年,先生先后著有《隶书入门与提高》、《隶书学习与欣赏》、《隶书解析与临习》三本隶书普及性读物,“赵普隶书”《治家格言》及《赵普书画集》等著作。

2017年至2019年,赵普先生以八旬高龄隶书功写《道德经》《金刚经》及《论语》全文出版发行,创作了全新的隶书版本,将经典与书法有机结合,为弘扬传统文化作出了贡献。

2010和2020年赵普先生和王健先生两度合作,出版了“歌词偕书法”,上册为《中华古代杰出及传奇女性五十咏》,下册为“电视连续剧《三国演义》”歌词十一首。

“老骥伏枥,志在千里”已入八二旬之先生,犹如既往,不断在 “人书俱老”的路上日潑斛墨。

柯文辉先生在赵普老师书画展前言中写道:《知足知不足,有为有不为》

《论语》的经典价值,两千多年来,举国皆知。书家赵普耄耋奋力,以整年功夫,隶书通写全文,就教海内外关心中国传统文化之父孺,其盛举令人十分注目。可谓“众望所归,众乐其时”。

赵隶,消化遗产,取精用宏,方笔方构,中锋笃实,奉汉碑金梭,存古拙神采。

参证篆楷,自见流妍,调节经纬,隐去斧痕,大字若小字凝聚意象,小件兼得巨幅奔腾!

赵隶可谓骨骼坚稳,筋脉晓畅,抱璞怀真,气象壮穆。

赵先生听过众多朋友真诚的褒语:

著名美术教育家丁井文先生曾面对赵先生说:“我若没离休,定请你去美术学院做书法教授”。

上海著名书画家曲章富先生说:“人家赵普可把汉蔡邕‘飞白’发挥得淋漓尽致,‘一波三折’也是出神入化。他化篆行入隶,融魏碑、唐楷为一炉,汲众家之长于自家书里,却不露痕迹”。

北京书协主席,中书协副主席林岫先生说:“我对赵普先生肃然起敬,先生从篆隶入手,是他成功的基础。他写篆隶,楷书能写到这般功夫,不容易!他的黄庭坚《经伏波神祠》行书水平高,可算代表作……”。

如此等等,这些善意的鼓励,丝毫不影响先生的清醒,因为他一向把自己置于白发学童之位置。

我与赵普先生交往卅余载,一直看到的是他在不倦的学习中,不断的进步中。我殷切地希望再见他明天的新作,并以冰心祖父之联句为题:知足知不足,有为有不为,以壮赵公行色!

Zhao Pu, born in 1939 in Beijing, is a veteran of the capital's painting and calligraphy circles, and one of the 100 members of Beijing Shuxie when it was founded in 1983. From 1987 to 2006, Mr. Li successively wrote three popular books of Li Shu: Introduction and Improvement of Li Shu, Study and Appreciation of Li Shu, Analysis and Practice of Li Shu, Zhao Pu's Li Shu, Family Motto and Zhao Pu's Collection of Calligraphy and Painting.

From 2017 to 2019, Zhao pu wrote the full text of The Tao Te Ching, The Diamond Sutra and the Analects of Confucius in his octogenarian clerical script and published them. He created a brand new edition of clerical script, which combines classics with calligraphy and contributes to the promotion of traditional culture.

In 2010 and 2020, Mr. Zhao pu and Mr. Wang Jian cooperated twice and published "Lyrics and Calligraphy", the first volume is "50 songs of Outstanding and legendary Women in Ancient China", the second volume is "TV series" Romance of The Three Kingdoms "11 lyrics.

"Li-an old hero, costrum" has entered the 820-year old Mr., as in the past, constantly in the "people are old" on the road.

Mr. Ke Wenhui wrote in the foreword of Teacher Zhao Pu's painting and calligraphy exhibition: "Contentment knows insufficient, promising has not"

The classic value of The Analects of Confucius has been well known throughout the country for more than 2,000 years. Calligrapher Zhao Pu is octogenarian, with a full year of kung fu, official script to write the full text, teaching at home and abroad to care about the father and child of Chinese traditional culture, its grand gesture is very noticeable. It can be said that "everyone is happy at the right time".

I have been in contact with Mr. Zhao Pu for more than 30 years, and what I have always seen is his tireless learning and continuous progress. I sincerely hope to see his new work tomorrow, and to bing Xin grandfather's joint sentence for the title: contentment knows insufficient, for have not for, to zhuang Zhao Gong line color!
