“袁勤生管理思想”展示厅,是中国管理科学研究院学术委员会袁勤生管理思想研究中心的一项成果展示。是我国民间智库首创的一种有形展示形式。

"Yuan Qinsheng's management thought" exhibition hall is an achievement exhibition of Yuan Qinsheng's management thought research center of Academic Committee of Chinese Academy of management sciences. It is a tangible display form pioneered by private think tanks in China.

它以大量的史实资料集中反映了自改革开放以来,“袁勤生管理思想”的实践经过和逐步形成过程。

上世纪八十年代初,在党的十一届三中全会路线指引下,袁勤生辞去公社工办副主任职务,依接手一家管理混乱,资不抵债的企业为实践基地,借助改革的巨力,对当下企业的经济分配,招工用工,产销管理和干部人事制度进行了大刀阔斧的系统改革,并把经彻底改进的思想政治工作渗透在上述改革的全过程,简称“四改一渗透”,这一经验,首先被中共常熟市委市政府肯定并联合发文在全市推广。紧接着中共苏州市委,江苏省委以不同形式推广了“四改一渗透”的经验,为当时摸着石头过河的初期改革起了破冰引领作用。

This experience was first affirmed by the CPC Changshu Municipal Party committee and municipal government and jointly issued a document to promote it in the whole city. Then the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Jiangsu Provincial Committee promoted the experience of "four changes and one penetration" in different forms, which played an ice breaking leading role in the initial reform of crossing the river by touching the stone at that time.

1994年,中共中央宣传部、组织部、国家经贸委和全国总工会联合授予袁勤生“全国优秀企业思想政治工作者”称号,这是苏州全市唯一称号获得者。

1997年,经新华通讯社提名,美中人民友好协会推荐,美国纽约州议会批准,袁勤生作为中国杰出人士,被授予纽约州首府奥尔巴尼市荣誉市民,时任美中友协主席芭芭拉·哈里森女士全程陪同。

展示厅以20个壁面板块的形式,简要的介绍了“袁勤生管理思想”创新的理念和与众不同的管理方式方法,这些出自中国本土,经过成功实践,有鲜明中国特色的管理方法,具有借鉴复制和可操作性,为研究和实践人本管理者提供了全新的措施和具体的工作方法。

These management methods come from China and have distinctive Chinese characteristics after successful practice. 展品中,以大量的照片、题词和文字资料,记实了袁勤生先后接待过49名副部长副省长以上干部作的思想汇报和向各地各级25万名左右干部和近30所大专院校师生所作的“以人为本开明管理”的讲授和报告。

2003年7月,袁勤生新著《开明管理与以人为本》中英文双语版,在北京人民大会堂举行首发式。该书被定为全国经济管理干部培训教材和对外文化交流资料。
