Master of culture, poetry and calligraphy

-- A record of Tan zhouwen, a famous poet and calligrapherb

Since ancient times, calligraphy has been a matter of literati. Calligraphic works written by poets have the most cultural pattern, which can be passed down from ancient to modern. Wang Xizhi's "Preface to At the Orchid Pavilion", Li Bai's "Shangyangtai", Su Dongpo's "Cold Food" and Mi Fu's "Sorghum" are all examples. So is Tan zhouwen, a famous contemporary poet and calligrapher. When we read his poems and look up to his calligraphy, there is always the feeling of passing on the wonderful culture from generation to generation. Mr. Tan, supported by both poetry and calligraphy, has made a great effort to inherit Chinese culture.

The style of contemporary poetry is often superficial. The superficial sense stems from their lack of oblique tones and rhymes. The writing ability of contemporary classical poetry is almost degenerated, and most of it is rhymes with no elegance at all. After reading The classical poetry of Mr. Tan Zhouwen, we can feel the solemn Canon of tang poetry quality again at present. His poems are not only like the simple narrative style of Du Fu's poems, which are easy to read and understand, but also the masterpieces of realism.

He also has the imaginative romanticism of Li Bai's poems, such as "One day when I have succeeded, I will leave while the peach blossoms of Wuling await me with a smile." He integrated realism and romanticism, forming a new style of his poetry that can be both narrative and reflective. In terms of talent, he is no worse than Li Bai and Du Fu, even comparable. At present, if the Tang poetry falls into a new magnificent rhyme, can Mr. Tan, together with Li Bai and Du Fu, become the three pillars of ancient and modern poetry? Of course! Because as long as you read his poems, you can appreciate the cultural style of the Tang Dynasty. His poems are endowed with public praise: He has an enlightening effect on the cultural world. He is a man of dignity, different from worldly people. He is also a great writer!

Mr. Tan is an exemplary contemporary man of letters, who is not only accomplished in literature, but also has profound insights in political theory. With a forward-looking perspective, he broke away from the small circle of literati and was a great literati who cared about his country and people. He is a state-level training tutor for key teachers and once attended the fourth National Youth Ideological and Political Work Experience Exchange Conference as the only representative of southwest China. His keynote speech at the conference made the front page of CPC News. His article Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces of Teachers has been selected in the major literature Review and Prospect of Education in the 60th Anniversary of The Founding of PRC. He did not write poetry for pleasure, but for the larger scheme of national destiny. He has the virtue of Fan Zhongyan, and his writing is loyal to Yan Zhenqing.

The great literati wrote calligraphy to express their feelings and aspirations. Therefore, his calligraphy is not inflexible, nor rigid, but to express emotion in the book to the highest state of China. At the beginning and the end of his calligraphy, he can use his brush skillfully. His calligraphy shows the value of Chinese civilization. His calligraphy shows the essence of calligraphy as a line art beyond perfection.Calligraphy is originally a line art, and he expresses this essence beyond measure. He wrote all kinds of calligraphy, winding like Qiu dragons, wandering like phoenixes. His calligraphy is hard and soft, but also interlocking. He can move his brush from stroke to stroke, and he can show his edge within a single stroke. His brushwork was powerful, as if it had been the work of nature rather than force or luck. His calligraphy has the momentum of Yan Zhenqing, exquisite peerless, and has very good cultural decoration value.

He is a master of culture, poetry and calligraphy. Mr. Tan inscribed inscribed tablets all over the hall and pavilions, elevation is. For example, the school name, the village name, the company name, the library name, the store name, the name... From border villages to cities of all sizes, from common people to cultural celebrities, from cottage to elegant hall, his poems and calligraphy works have been collected and displayed! The truth of calligraphy lies in that it is not only a self-cultivation to express ambition, but also a great undertaking to carry forward culture! He has written inscriptions in many families in Sichuan and Chongqing. Huai Su and Tan Zhouwen both have the merit of promoting calligraphy culture like this. We can clearly see that he is the Calligraphy Immortal. He has the style of a master, true but not false. His poetry and calligraphy are both unique. He is a Chinese prodigy.
