齐建中 少年时爱好美术，拜五台山和尚刘法成为师学习中国画。
1977年在89730部队美术培训班学习油画。 2012年参加清华大学美术学院首届当代书画创作名家名师导师高级研究班学习。 多次吟听戴顺智、张江舟、梅墨生、郭石夫等等名师大家的教诲，受到孙建平、吕双明、陈福春、林容生等多位名师的指导，成为丁观加老师的入室弟子。2013年又参加文化部所属书画艺术创作基地朱零中国画笔墨语言转换特色班学习。 2016年参加张津诚国展冲刺班学习。 2016年参加王春之书法班学习。作品多次参加国家及省市展览，并为多家博舘收藏。

再见齐老师的山水画，有种“方寸之间见万里，气象万千”的气度，即古人所云：“品其味，会其意，明其志”。 笔下的作品，用笔到墨，由远到近，从情感到气格的“境界”的追求。画山水注重“师造化”，要在造境，高在化境，作画和看画共同身临其境，向审美活动的深层次发展：一是亲近自然，回归自然，和大自然合一，达到主客观世界与时共进光景常新的境界，谓之新。二是潜移默化在真境、神境、妙境的高深境界之中，陶冶情操，净化心灵，达到精神境界的升华!

Qi Jianzhong had a passion for art in his youth and studied Chinese painting under the tutelage of Liu Facheng, a monk from Mount Wutai.
In 1977, he studied oil painting at the art training class of the 89730 Troop. In 2012, he participated in the first senior research class of contemporary calligraphy and painting creation under the guidance of famous teachers and mentors at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. He repeatedly listened to the teachings of renowned masters such as Dai Shunzhi, Zhang Jiangzhou, Mei Mosheng, and Guo Shifu, received guidance from many famous teachers including Sun Jianping, Lv Shuangming, Chen Fuchun, and Lin Rongsheng, and became a disciple of Ding Guanjia. In 2013, he participated in the Zhu Ling Chinese Painting Brush and Ink Language Conversion Special Class at the calligraphy and painting art creation base affiliated to the Ministry of Culture. In 2016, he participated in the Zhang Jincheng National Exhibition Sprint Class. In 2016, he participated in the Wang Chunzhi Calligraphy Class. His works have been exhibited multiple times at national, provincial, and municipal exhibitions and have been collected by many museums.

He is currently a member of the Henan Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Qingmei Art Creation Research Association of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, the Deputy Director of the Creation Department of the Song Qingling Foundation Zongqing Art Academy, and an executive director of the Weihui City Artists Association.

Upon viewing Teacher Qi's landscape paintings, one is struck by the grandeur of "seeing thousands of miles within a mere inch, with a myriad of magnificent scenes." This echoes the ancient saying: "Appreciate its taste, comprehend its meaning, and understand its aspiration." The works, from brush to ink, from distant to near, and from emotion to style, embody the pursuit of "realm." Landscape painting emphasizes "emulating nature," aiming to create a scene, elevating to a transformed realm, where both painting and viewing immerse the viewer in a deeper level of aesthetic activity: one is to draw close to nature, return to nature, and merge with it, achieving a state where the subjective and objective worlds progress together with time, constantly renewing, which is termed as "newness." The other is to subtly cultivate one's sentiments and purify the soul within the profound realms of truth, pinity, and wonder, attaining a spiritual sublimation!
